Is Picasso's "Guernica" in the Gernika Peace Museum?

The original "Guernica" by Picasso has been at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid since 1992. The Gernika Peace Museum has a copy of the painting and there is also another ceramic life-size copy near to the Gernika Courts and Health Centre.

Is the museum suitable for families with children?

The Gernika Peace Museum also has a "Children's Corner" on the first floor of the museum building, where children aged between 3 to 10 can paint or play under the supervision of their parents. It also has an Educational Department (Link to the Educational Department) hezkuntza.museoa@gernika-lumo.net) that organises a wide range of activities for the children and/or adolescents.

What is accessibility like to the Peace Museum for people with mobility problems?

The Gernika Peace Museum has a lift from the street level entrance (Artekalea), which ensures that all the rooms (except for the Educational Department) are fully accessible from outside and inside the museum. There are several WCs for the disabled.
